Does anyone know or have any idea of what it costs to participate, in the events, are there package deals, individual event pricing etc how does it work I am interested in attending.

IIRC, the past few years have been ~$800 per person (owner plus 1), no package deals, no discounts if only 1 is using the track, etc., but even still, it's a great deal.

VOI is an outstanding event requiring a lot of logistics. Chrysler ran the previous VOI under his marketing group. This VOI might be really expensive for the participants. Chrysler has very limited budget for marketing this year. I would even say that they don't have much left. In addition Cerberus's other acquisition GMAC is in big troubles. Everything looks like budget oriented. The VCA will have to count on its own financial ressources to put together this event. I think the price will be above $1000 but I might be wrong.
