Wow, this is tough! I won the charity auction on this site (thanks, JonB) for a set of HRE wheels. I can get any size, style and finish that I want and have narrowed it down to 19/20 style in chrome (for ease of care) but am between two styles...
I have a black/silver GTS and have not seen these particular wheels in person and am having a hard time making a decision - it's giving me tunnel vision and I could use some help from you all.
Here are a couple of picks of the two designs (890R and 844R) on a couple of cars. Let me know what you guys think look best... [image]

Both have a 3" lip in back and 2" lip in front.

Both wheels are great looking and you are get votes on both.

Which do you like best?

I like the 890's. I am just not a fan of the h-type spokes. IMHO the wheels with the H pattern seem to square, if that makes any sense. :bonker:

I'm a 5 spoke chrome wheel kind of guy. The 5 spokes always look tougher and more like a muscle car to me which is the look I like. Look at Synfull's pics he put up in a thread last week or in my photo gallery.

I'd go with the 545R's with black centers chrome outers.

Agree 100% here, but if I had to choose between the 2 the 890R's all the way, the 844's look too much like those 20" Startech's....

I vote for the 844Rs,
But keep in mind that these wheels have a very "open" design, and therefore reveal a lot of your rotors and calipers. If you have the stock brakes, with rusty one piece rotors the result may be disapointing, unless you upgrade to SRT fronts on all wheels with Euroteck rotors..

I agree. I only like the five spoke wheels on the viper.
