Warranty on a 96?

I also have a '96, you need to call Chuck Tator at "Tator Dodge", I just bought a 4yr 48k Powertrain Plus from him. He will tell you the TRUTH about the DC warranties.

Tiepilot, GREAT idea! I am gonna investiage this also! I would rather send my biz to Chuck rather than the "I don't care" large and not very customer focused Dodge dealer near me here in Northern California...

Were you still under an extended warranty when you bought the recent 4 year warranty?

OK, since it's all 96 R/T's in this discussion I will have to jump in on this. When I bought my car, The warranty was part of the deal, BUT it is not a DC warranty. I have not had any problems yet(except for no back-up lights, can't decide to try warranty or do it myself), so I don't know how much of a hassle it is going to be. It would seem to me that the DC deal would be safer.

I bought my Viper just over a month ago and without any warranty. I got a big run-a-round here in Atlanta about extended warranties from Dodge Dealers. I started a thread asking about the DC warranty being worthless, you need to reference it.

Chuck Tator left a reply and I called him up, I'm glad I did he treated me well and took a lot of time explaining to how the DC warranties varied. If you need answers about just getting coverage (eligibility) he will tell you straight up.

I opted for a 4yr 48k mile Powertrain Warranty that is very comprehensive.

The 96 I bought had an extended warranty until 04, but it has already been transfered once. Can I sill purchase a new one from dodge for 2 more years?
