Had my trans replaced under warranty. Anyone else experience howling, whine while cruising? Also seem to here a constant hiss, like a bad radio speaker.

The howling and whine are from all the jealous public when they see that you have a Viper and they don't.
Seriously though, take it back! Who knows what other damage it's doing.

I also had mine replaced on my 94 under warranty due to the original one popping out of gear, grinding on my shift into 2nd and finally when the shifter broke off in my hand I had no choice but to get a new one. I wanted to make it last for the summer but no luck, this was July. I now have the new one in and I still get the odd grind coming into 2nd gear on a fast shift. Doesn’t do it in any other gear only 2nd and not all the time. Warm or cold doesn’t seem to be a factor. Is this me being off a little or shifting to fast and I find that unlikely, or is it the transmission? New clutch and slave cylinder put in at the same time. I have driven standards all my life so I’m not new to the game. There are no other noises in the transmission on mine.
