Was there an AAR edition Viper? If not, how would someone have acquired AAR? Was this a dealer edition ad on to a Viper? Any help is appreciated.

OR...did original poster mean "ACR" ??

If the answer is "yes..ACR", there ACR's were made by Dodge 99-02, 08-10, and 16-17.

This is a Painted Car. The Blue is not a decal. It has Aero kit that has the front Splitter/canards removed. The car has had one prior owner who bought car from dealer this way in Illinois. Vin for this Car has 2 special order option codes on the build Sheet. Even the side emblems are stainless steel, not vinyl. The side emblems are hand-trimmed perfectly in red to give a shadow appearance to the decal. This car has a lot of detail. I spoke with AAR people and they can only verify that IF there was a AAR Viper, then it would have had to come with Special order option code. Which this car does. However, factory specs only show 1 of 5 white with red strips produced in 2009. This is one and it's car#50 off the line. That is all i can find out and need additional help on this.

AAR (All American Racing) not ACR

Thanks

I've never heard/seen anything like this until today. It appears legit, but I can't help but be a little dubious as to authenticity (out of Gurney's shop). The 'Cuda Dan ran in Trans-Am was not his favorite car, even a little.

Do you own the Viper? I talked to the owner a long time ago(probably 10 years or so), was a very nice car, I think it had the Coupe gas cap cover mod done to it.

I've got to think it was a dealer special thing, not from the factory. Kind of like the old Super Stock Darts and Barracudas. Dealer paid to have the mods done and sold it that way brand new.

Kind of reminds me of the Hurst Vipers, which I also never knew existed until I met one at an event. Were those actually factory options or was the extra stuff done up at a third party? This has a very similar feel to it.
