I have seen that some people have added water wetter to the cooling system to help. I just bought a bottle of it and went to put it in. How the heck are you suppose to get too the fill bottle that is under the front fascia. The manual stated not to put it in through the pressure cap. Of course I knew that this would not be easy. Please help!

Take the hose off the cap that feeds to bottle, use small funnel in to hose to add. They also say you will not get huge or best results by just adding a bottle to system. To get best results water wetter and distilled water. Some people will tell you not to do this because it won't protect from corrosions. When if you go to their site and do some research you will see it says it does have the protection needed even for aluminum. Some people claim it ruined their engines. I would think if this was the case they would not sale so much of it. If you run your a/c then it could cause some freeze up if only water and water wetter. I drained most of my system out left small amount of engine coolant added water wetter and topped off with distilled water. If you have a water softner hooked to your water at home do not use that water for any salt that may be in it.

Results for me on a very hot day here in Fl. racing at Sebring all day 210* max and 190* on cool down lap. Whether the car would have ran hotter that day I don't know. I did it as a precaution just because its been so hot here. I do feel that it helped and these are the temps I am getting in town and highway. I did not add because I had temp problems, alot of people add because their cars runs hot all the time like 225* or higher. If this is the case I would look elsewhere for problem or different fix.

Sorry for so long to simple question. Just sharing info I got when I looked into water wetter.

So, do you think that it could cause engine problem with one bottle?

I'm no expert but I would say no otherwise I would not have chanced it in my own car. I think I only read one thread with bad results and I think it was on a built engine, you know how that is sometimes , they have to find blame somewhere.

Why do you feel you want to add it? I would say if your not having any temp issues and your just trying to bring down temp more don't bother. Their own directions say adding to system maybe 5* degree difference and you may not ever see that by the gauge.

If you were going to track the car and really wanted to test it I would say what the hell. If you want to see the best results according them you must drain all engine coolant from block as well, then only water wetter and distilled water. Then if you tracked it and got temps of 200 or less it would be legit if not, then just another gimmick. Remember I left some coolant in my system. If you don't get the results go back to factory specs. You want to go back to factory specs for sure if your up north or ever driving in very cold conditions. Here in FL. don't have to worry about freezing to often.
