I won't ever give up my GTS for that--just my opinion and no flame to those who are interested in buying one or even have an SRT. Having said that, I'm still looking forward to seeing it in person and driving it.

Can someone explain to me why DC did the overlap of the rear fenders to cover half the rear lights? Something looks real wrong about the rear. Why didn't they put the rear of the SRT-10? That car is going to flop big time.

That is exactly what I think too, the rear end looks like ass. Almost as ugly as the C6 nose. It think Vette and Viper are having an "ugly" competition.

The second biggest problem was accurately nailed by Luc, the awkward mix of curves and angles, just doesn't jive. They tried to recall some of the GTS lines, but in so doing, created a real ugly bastard of a car. Sure, its fast, ok, we gotta give 'em that, but then again, so is that new "Charger"!

{fighting back the vomit reflex}

jmho, apologies to those who like it, don't listen to me

I love the B/W, but now that I have seen the plane red one and picked it to death the B/W just does not have the same charm. I think that the stripes take your eye away for the true lines of the car. Which is good because as stated above the sharp line with the rounded ones just don't do it. The gas cap also *****. I think and hope when I see it in person that it will look 100% better.

WHY WILL DC NOT READ THE POSTS ON THE FORUM AND USE THEM!

Wow that was the first time I yelled on this forum. Its feels nice, but I will keep it in control. I will also forward this site to Dodge Design. :)

I want this also, thanks DC for building it....Iam glad I held out for its release, and I am very thankfull I do not have to sell my GTS to obtain it.
(the new coupe would loose).

I really like the gen 3 also, probably would of bought one of them and painted it B/W if not for the release of the gen 4 coupe...

Yeah, the gen 4 is not the crowd favorite, I can live with that, Iam buying this for me, and because I can,(stated honestly, not stated smugly) the same reason I bought my B/W GTS, and my
Ram SRT/10....

Wait till they hit the dealerships, I bet most of the nay sayers may possibly atleast go take a closer look at one.....my 2 cents

Bluesnake, you have to wait until September or later to see the coupe in showrooms. I was as the SRT event in Vegas and was advised that the production date was pushed back.

pushed back... or maybe dc decided on a late term abortion because of all the bad feedback?

No such luck.

I would likely have traded my GTS for a street legal comp coupe (or a design very similar). The SRT-10 coupe leaves me with no desire to sell. The SRT-10 convertible looks better.

With a 1:1 scale Comp Coupe sitting downstairs - it's hard to think about buying one of these new coupes. The CC is just too damn good looking.

I still think I'll be in the market for a GTS again - late model with ABS - but there's just something about the way that car just "fits" - even from a driving position - that makes me want one.

The new coupe is just too incongruous. Did we hire Chris Bangle???? j/k it's not that bad, but it's not as eye pleasing as it should be.

Well I just saw the coupe drive down goddard road in taylor michigan. I knew it was an SRT from the front, but as it drove by me, I saw it was the coupe. I like it alot. I am still debating between a used GTS or a new coupe. The jury is out. I really thought it was nice looking. At first, I just thought it was an SRT with an artermarket hood. If I didn't see this post, I would have gone after him to take some pics, and try to chat.

Maybe they are giving it another 100 HP. Now that the ZO6 is going 3.7 to 60
