Ok so my car is going on a diet and here is the weight of some of the parts I have removed.

9.6 lbs Front Shock
11.8 lbs Rear Shock
30 lbs Flywheel
47 lbs Front Wheel (six spoke with PS2)
56.6 lbs Rear Wheel (six spoke with PS2)
8.4 lbs Crossover pipe
13 lbs cats
38.4 Hood (Gen III)
20.6 Gears
41.4 Battery :omg:

Forgot to weigh the factory GenIII 04 wheels.

That's 414.8 lbs!!!!!!!

Wikipedia says the 04 Viper weighs 3380 lbs the 2013 weighs 3297. That's a difference of 83 lbs.

If you're looking for a CF Gen IV hood, I have a pin on one that's brand new, never installed. It does have a Viper red wrap on it, but that can be removed rather easily.

Thanks but I already have the Vipair hood on my Viper. It's black with exposed carbon in the middle.

I thought about doing that but decided to go with an oem hood. I bet it loks killer, any pics? I see you left your rear trunk area unpainted black. Just out of curiosity, did you paint the tailight soround or leave it white. I'm doing the acr theme on my coupe and not sure about doing the rear trunk and taillight around. Just the hood, bumper and roof.
