and they had a 2002 FE on the showroom on trade. They said the car was on the showroom for less than a week and it had just sold for 68K. It had less than 5K miles on it from what I remember. I did like those white stripes.

Nice to see the local market is still demanding clean Gen II Vipers.


Also they had a 2004 SRT/10 in Black that looked "ok"

The sales manager said..."how about trading up"


I said "trading up?" "It's a nice car and all but it's a bit boring and lacks the looks of my GTS"

He paused, looked at me and said... "you're right" ... "keep the ACR"

I drove my GTS to the local Dodge dealer a couple of weekends ago. Two people asked me if I wanted to "trade up" for the new SRT-10, five people said "your car is way cooler than ours". I politely responded to each employee and customer. I left happy with the car I now own, but wish I had the new engine and new emblems.

The SRT-10 Truck is very cool and a good deal at $45K sticker. (IMO)

Went to a car show last night. Nelson Auto Group brought 2 04 SRT-10's and two Lambo's. This was the first time my wife had ever seen a Gen III Viper in person. Her first reaction... you guessed it... "looks like a Vette, keep yours" She likes Vettes and would mind owning one, but feels, as most of us do, that the original Vipers are much more distinctive and ****. Exactly!

rcdice: Sounds like a cool car show. We don't have things like that around here. The most exotic cars I have ever seen at shows are Panteras, etc... I did see a 360 & 456 Ferrari on the road this week though.
