WENT TO THE TRACK TODAY - BEAT ON LOTS OF VETTE\'S
went to cecil dragway today, the vette club has a event this time each year.
about 100 corvette's and 3 vipers. one guy from NJ had a yellow rt w/ SC - he
ran mid 11's ( stated something was wrong going into 3rd ) i sat in his car to
check it and there was a problem going into 3rd. another guy from MD had a 2003
srt/10 silver that heffner did some work on ( exhaust - gears ) he did two runs
both in the low 14's ( stated his b&m shifter was having problems going into
3rd) he left early but as he was pulling out the trans started making bad sounds.
seems something broke but was able to drive. i took my 04 silver srt/10. one of
the best parts of today was lots of runs, I MADE 16 RUNS - WOOOHOOO
my best 1/4 mile time was 12.06
best 60 ft time 1.90
best reaction time .034 - worst -.013 red light during practice
best speed 120.69
they divided the groups into 6 classes, i ran the 12.00-12.64 class
dialed in at 12.20
1st win ran a 12.265
2nd win ran a 12.235 on the brakes not to bust out
3rd lost ran a 12.264
had i won the race i ran 12.264 i would have been in the final for my class,
DANG sure would have been nice to take home one of their trophy's today,almost
i'll get em next year.
during my practice runs doing heads up racing, I NEVER LOST
, made the
VIPER look good. i did receive lots of compliments on the car and the vet guys
were pretty nice to me all in all, i did know some of them from when i owned
my vet's.

NEW C6'S - ONE GUY HAD A YELLOW ONE AND KEPT RACING ME, AFTER THE 3RD LOST HE
WAVED ME OFF NOT WANTING ANYMORE

and complimented me on my viper.
C4'S - EASY STREET - NOT EVEN A GOOD RACE

MODE AND HELD IT THE ENTIRE TIME I DID MY RUN (LMAO) INCLUDING COMING UP TO THE
LIGHT. THE GUYS AT THE STARTING LINE RUNNING THE TREE WERE LAUGHING THEIR ARSS
OFF. ANYHOW I CAN POST PICS BUT NOT MOVIES SO IF SOME ONE CAN DO IT I WILL

want race tires with wheels, 3.55 gears, exhaust then during the winter a trip
