My tires are getting ready to go. I want to get good cruising tires (not track tires)... with some life and some stick to them. What tires would make my ride the best? I have a 2001 GTS.

Some life and stick tend to be mutally exclusive...pilots are a good choice tho. Toyos are good too.

Buy PS2s from Jon at Parts Rack and you support one of our site sponsors, you get the cheapest price and fast shipping, you ensure that you get the PS2 versions that are specific to the Viper, and it helps to have a Viper specific enthusiast in the supply chain who knows what is best for what application, when you need answers to those questions.

Ditto, four new PS2's made a world of difference. Even perform well on the track and in the wet (when you can't avoid it). All four ran me about $1400 if I remember correct, 335 in the back, 295 in the front and happy with that combo.

I have heard there's a special version of the PS2's that were a one off for the '08 think you can get them from JonB (at least he will know something about them)... not sure if there's a price difference or if they're even still available.

Do the Michelin PS2 do have a E-xx number?

I can order them from the US but for Europe we need the "official" E-number on the side wall - xx stands for a one-or-two-digit number. If I remember correct, the E is in a small circle or box.

heard Toyos are tops too... but thought the largest width was 315...? (or is that just on 19"?)

There is an E2 in a circle and an e2 in a box on the sidewall, similar to your photos.

Thanks! I checked my RT/10 with the tires from the factory still on it - and yes, the "e2" sign is there also.

No wonder since all tires come from Michelin in France...
