There is an updated hose kit for it. give jon b a call at parts rack. not very expensive but worth upgrading to.

The 96 tubes there didn't work so well with the synthetic mobil one oil.

on your model, HARD braking will also draw oil into the left airbox/TB. check your filter and t/b to see how it looks.

A rubber elbow fitting on the front ends of both my valve covers, and are connected together with a long tube, and they "T" off and connect to the left side of the Airbox.

What are these tubes and Why does it leak oil ?? Is this supposed to be a problem on these '96 GTS's ??

Ever since I went Drag racing last week, I noticed it smells a little like burning oil from under the hood when I stop and idle, and it looks like thats the culprit.

I went to my local dealer, and they said they never heard of it before being a problem, but they weren't sure what it was either...........*** ??
P.S. I didn't tell'em I was racing it

Hi Dan,
"Crank Case Vent to Air Cleaner Harness" #4763806AC MSRP $16.85
I kept the Harness in stock. 96/97 we replace them all the time. The rubber gets soft with age and then leaks oil.
