I need new air filters anyway and was thinking I should ditch the stock set up for a cold air intake set-up.

The car has smooth tubes but I THINK its stock otherwise as far as the cai goes.

What do you guys recommend for the gen 1's?

I was told some **** hot air from the radiator and there are good ones that **** in front of it?

I am new to Vipers so go easy on me ha. thanks.

ON A SIDE NOTE:

Has anyone put an amp in there car? did you run the power wire to the terminal under the hood or right to the battery?

the run would be much shorter to the battery I was thinking.

I have cone filters in my car... people say it will **** in hot air (obviousely), but seems to be fine... Hauls ass so must be working.

*edit - For CAI, the only think you can do is leave it stock and swap out filters for K&N's. There really is NO cold air for a Gen I.

Put an amp in your trunk.... run power from the battery, it's right below the trunk, so might as well...

I guess pryme gets first shot. If he is not interested I am in the K&N's. I have a 93 viper, Will they work in it. I heard you can lose the clips.
