What do you do with your Keys when you take your GTS to the beach?

At the beach, I would first look for a motivated parking lot attendant. I would then buy two parking spaces to be sure that no one would get too close. I would also tip the attendant ~$25 up front to keep an eye on my car for the afternoon. Of course, I would put a car cover on as well; out of sight, out of mind! The keys would be on my person at all times.

By the way, what beach are you going to in Pittsburgh?

ACR Joe:

There is nothing in Pittsburgh - that is for sure.

However, I lived for 15 years in Stuart & Jupiter as was never more than 1 mile as the crow flies from the ocean.

Ah, those were the days.

However, driving a Viper in S. Florida is meaningless - there are no curves. Pittsbrugh has curves, however, but no open road. Nevada has open road and serpentine hill climbs only.

Hmmmmm. I have been thinking of moving to Nevada.

Too much snow ......

Viper in garage .....

I can't take it .....

I fell in love with the keypad entry on my 88 Turbo Tbird for this particular reason - you lock everything in the car (!)

If I take a key, I take it into the water with me.

As far as the keyless transmitter, that is not possible.

I think keyless entry would be nice feature on any car! (I usually keep a key to my house in my Turbo!)

Boy, life is hard.

Tom:

I leave my car in the garage and ride my bike a few blocks to the water. This is one of the only advantages of living at the beach. The downside is that homes are tiny, and there is no parking because of all of you guys driving to the beach.

By the way, for all of you in the rest of the US, it was 82 degrees at the beach today (and 93 in the San Fernando Valley). Life is tough out here (and all of us in California wish we were in Hawaii). I wonder what the local folks in Hawaii dream about (when you already live in paradise)?

Have a great week.

My wife's Bikini. The Viper stays in the parking lot, but I can always see my wife. Bikini location is up to your partner.

Good luck, and wear your sunscreen!

Jim,

There is no place in any of my Wife's Bikinis for a car key, much less that rather oversized fob!

I cringe at the thought of a viper at the beach. All that sand being stirred up and falling on the car.Or sand blasting it if it gets windy. Bruce
