I just wanted to check and find out what paperwork/items came with RT/10's when purchased new. How close is the following list?

window sticker
owner's manual
warranty book
tire warranty book
radio manual
vinyl binder for books/manual
video tape for top operation
2 keys
2 remote key fobs
valet key (someone mentioned this; what can you prevent access to with this?)
side windows
soft bag for side windows
soft top
soft bag for soft top
spare tire
jack
"spoon" for lug nut cover
tool kit (what's in it?)

Is there a source for any of this if I should become a concours ******?
Thanks!

My car also came with an interior Vinyl tonneau cover, but I have no idea if this was an accessory purchase, as I
am the 2nd owner. 96 RT. Year probably matters.

Yes, the tonneau was standard for Gen I. No valet key. Only two locks on the car: trunk and ignition. No tool kit. Front license plate bracket (unattached) included. The wheel center tool was placed inside of the owners manual. Card from Team Viper with VIN, miles as delivered and signed by a Craftsperson.

That is about all. Can remember it like it was yesterday.

I got an Allen wrench for RT/10 Top removal, but don't know if it was standard either...

Also don't forget "Your Key to the Viper Experience" - Viper Club of America Brochure with the owners manual!

Hmm, maybe the toolbag wasn't factory then? One of the cars I saw had a black vinyl bag with 2 snap closures; it had a Viper logo printed on it in white. The bag contained a lugnut wrench, and some non-descript quality screwdrivers, pliers, etc. (they looked to be about the same *** metal quality as the ones that come with Japanese motorcycles). I figured it must be factory, as I couldn't imagine spending the money to assemble a toolkit out of flea market quality tools...
I didn't know about the tonneau cover; is that the one that goes over the cockpit, and can be unsnapped on just the driver's side? Ditto for the rear window bag. What "keys" are needed for the rear window? I thought they just snapped in/out of place?
As for the "hottie magnet", I think that is countered by the "bleary-eyed, bags-under-eyes, hen-pecked and defeated by a wife and two kids" option... ;)
So, is there a source for buying this stuff if any of it is missing?

Okay - a little clarity.

No toolkit included. If you saw one it was made up or purchased aftermarket.

The tonneau was standard equipment 1992-1996 and then became optional. It snaps in using snaps on the dash and the same locations as the rear windows plus slide in pieces at each door using the same slots as the windows. The tonneau has a removable section for the driver that is zippered in.

The rear window snaps in for 92-96 RT's after that it includes the lock. That feature coincides with roll down windows.

Regarding a place to buy you could either watch the want ads or place a wanted ad.
