Viper Owner
It becomes this
We purchased this wrecked car (how it became wrecked is another story) for a potential project. The main reason we sourced this car was for the drive train that was not damaged. After removing the drive train, we tried to decide what to do with the leftover components. We ultimately decided to have fun with it and created a video game machine. We wanted a more involved experience when we played games and what better environment than the cockpit of a Dodge Viper. The purpose of creating this game machine was for our clients to play while we were working on their cars. The current specs on the system are a Logitech G25 racing wheel, pedals, and shift assembly hooked up to a Playstation 3. The whole setup took about a day to fabricate and set up. The sound from the tv is being piped into the car speakers through an amp. The dash lights up for an additional effect.
And for any Battlestar Galatica, Nip/Tuck, or 24 fans, you might recognize the person driving in the last photo.
