Having now owned a Viper for nearly a whole month I felt obligated to share some interesting observations. (Strictly amusement purposes only)
from what i can figure approximately 83 percent of the general population has a friend and/or relative with a 500+ hp vehicle of some sort .. . which leads me to the question.. where are said vehicles ? there's gotta be at least 643 of em' in my small town alone...
no matter how many times I "check" my left knee is still about an inch or two wider than the gap between my steering wheel and door panel.
6'3" is the cutoff height between cool and doofus in a Viper. (except for you Mr tall guy reading this that could be offended. you still look good in it) I am 6'6.. sooo... yeeeah
Viper brakes still grab very well in the rain. Michelin Pilots on the other hand... not so much
more people are concerned about the headlight aiming bubble levels than I ever would have expected.
"They" were right... it does get kinda warm in here.
I'm glad I'm a tech cuz all you that have to pay for labor... ouch.. I'd be more than happy to help with minor things on any Viper in southwest Michigan area for those that are interested. I wont be installing turbo's or nitrous or pretending to be Mr. Hennessy but normal maintenance and some diag are a piece of cake.
Lastly this VCA crowd seems genuinely positive and willing to help each other in every forum I have read. I'm glad to be a member.
