The rear greens and brake tool for my 2001 arrived at noon today -- thanks JonB!!! I went straight to work...

The brake tool seems to be best when used in a squeeze and back off method, like you would with a screw tap. Otherwise it seems to bind...

One man vacuum brake bleeders works great ONLY if you wraps the threads of the bleed screws with a good thick layer of teflon tape. Otherwise the bleeder just ***** air from around the screw threads.

It's amazing how little brake dust builds up inside the wheels with the greens. I have had the fronts on for about 500 miles so far and there was barely any. A thick layer of black dust on the rears.

And I learned that I have a nail in my rear tire. So I will take that to be fixed now, and at the same time I will have the front tires rotated to opposite sides (same rotating direction) to help even wear...

After I got back from Discount Tire (I took just the 3 wheels for the nail removal and front tire rotation in my Intrepid) I only got to drive the car about a mile before the rain started.

And in that mile, I can tell you that after many stopping tests my rear brake squeak was totally gone!

I have had the front EBC's for about 500 miles, but the stock rears were squealing like a pig!

I am very happy.

-- On a side note, you don't even have to take the whole car to get attention with the Viper. All the tire guys at Discount came over to look at the huge rear wheel that I brought in. The thing looks like an Indy car tire when it's off the car. They knew immediately where it came from.
