So what if the Viper saved weight by going to an all-aluminum V8? Assuming that same V8 could pump out the horsepower in equal terms to the V10 (500+), would you trade the cylinder count for increased performance? Personally I love the V10 myself, but if the Viper could reclaim the King of the Hill status with a lighter engine, body parts, etc. then I would take it. Of course others just want bragging rights on the engine size and not performance. This 10-cylinder is for you...

I would probably take a better look at other sports cars if DCX made the Vipers V8. I like the exclusivity aspect MORE than I do the bragging rights. Vipers are V10’s and should always be. IMO
