What is this? Relay for what?

I just purchased a 99 GTS and in the back truck, there ia a relay hanging as seen in the attach picture. Does any know what this relay is for?

Also the metal frame mount, what is this for also? One guess I had a possible Stereo AMP mount that has been removed.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

That is the fuel pump relay etc and the bracket was for the factory amp.

If you pull the cover off the relay box it will tell you what each relay and fuse is used for. IIRC, a couple of the relays are for that amp as well.

Thanks! Is the relay normaly just hanging in the back like this or did the preious owner screw with it? It ugly, like this.

I would have to look at mine and I can't right now but I know there is a bracket that attaches to. Guessing the bracket went with the amp but can't be sure.

It never secured very well. Mine always hung loose. I've since removed the amp and bracket. Saved 6.95 lbs.
