City gets 5-13 miles or about 160miles on a tank at speeds of 5-30mph. Highway gets about 20mph or 350 miles on a tank at cruising speeds of 75-80mph.

In my 97' I get 13 or 14 around town and 24 to 25 on the highway using the cruise control. The tank holds around 18 gallons so distance between fillups is 180 to 400 depending on the driving

Mostly I don't know or care. However once on a long highway trip to a VOI I got 25mpg at a slow cruise of between 95 and 110 mph. That was the only time I bothered to check. GTS Bruce

From past discussions and my personal experience, a gen II car will normally get 10-14 mpg in combination city/hwy driving with a couple of high throttle bursts per tank. The highest mileage you'll likely ever see is 23 to 25 mpg in 6th gear at 60-80 mph - that is, if you trust the arithmetic abilities of those people claiming that number. The best I've ever seen in my gen II was slightly less than 21 mpg overall in sixth gear for a number of 1700 mile trips. Gen I's get slightly better gas mileage (I saw 22.9 mpg over the same CA-TX/OK trips in my '95).

I find it interesting to know the exact number, but you'll find you won't care about it - its more economical overall, because with another car, you'd have to pay more for the entertainment that comes with the Viper.

I used to get around 13/22 before the supercharger. Now with the upgraded fuel system I'm around 10/15.

About $ .50 per Smile. So at least 100-120 smiles per tank, your number of smiles may vary.
