'01 Sapphire. 29,000mi. Put 9,000mi. on it during the 2 months I drove it.

Had a 98 sc'd GTS and put 9,000mi. on it in 2 months as well. I've also put 32,000mi. on my Stealth R/T TT during the last 2 years, now it's at 100,000mi.

SweetRed04 has it right. Many of the newer Gen 3 s have 7 yr 70,000 warranty bumper to bumper (one or two owners Ibelieve)so naturally higher mileage... Oh right, 2004 Gen 3 14,504.

Not to hijack this thread but how do we go about changing the publics perception that anything over 10,000 miles on a viper is high mileage.

I was sort of wondering about this also. Mine has been referred to as a garage queen, even though it has 18,500 miles on it. Maybe it's because I average 2,000 miles per year that they call it a queen. I just can't bring myself to drive something this beautiful into the ground.

Will it still be a garage queen if I keep it 10 more years and put an additional 20,000 miles on it? I dunno, but it has sure stayed looking nice for 9 years.
This is about the mileage I do not because I do not want to drive it but because that is all time allows.

Did anyone notice on this thread there are 19 Viper owners (or enthusiasts who say they are) who are not VCA members? Just an observation.
From most of the posts they drive their cars quite a bit.:2tu:
So why not join the VCA and help support this site?

Just to keep this thread in line, we drove our first Viper 26,000 miles in the first year and a half. Home from the factory with the family in tow.:)

When I pulled into the garage tonight, I was 2 miles short of 26K miles. I can't leave it at home! It just too much fun to drive!
