Yeah, you should be in the low low 12 range. It just takes a little practice. Many people don't know that a lot of time can be shed by shifting faster. It's a little harder on the car, but it might be just what the doctor ordered to squeeze out that extra couple of tenths. Also, you might try running with your gas tank almost empty, ditching your spare, putting a lot of pressure in your front tires, making sure you don't let off until well through the lights, and slipping the clutch a little off the line.
