Actually, to put his Viper design into perspective, it helps to look at his wesite and other designs. I think that his industrial design work (teapots, chairs and phones) are interesting. But all his vehicle designs are wacky and weird looking, with the Corvette-based cars looking far worse than the Viper-fish-abboration.

Obviously, he is a product of the 60's, and no restrictions on drugs in his formative years.
