The title says it all. Who even makes these? Wow, this is simply distasteful!

Actually, I like them better than this:

There is a big difference.

The bling bling rims from the 1st post are a design failure.
1. They do not improve performance and most likely decrease it due to increased unsprung weight.
2. They do not improve or enhance the appearance of the car.

The moons on the other hand were designed to improve performance(decrease drag) for speed runs. They achieve the design goal at the cost of aesthetics, therefore are worthy of some measure of respect.

And so I agree, the title says it all!

IMHO

Are those stickers on the sills?

Awesum!!! :lmao:

Actually, those look like what many of the non European descent people do, known around here as spinners. :dj:

PLEASE tell me that the stickers are not the 'R racing" stickers from Autozone!!

Isn't that Charlie Brown III's car? Viper-dozen engineer who designed the GTS engine?

I met him at PennState - he had a black GTS with ghost flames (visible on the front fender) and those moon wheels. I don't remember it having the front bumper aero, but that was also almost 10 years ago.

The only thing that helped those wheels is that in the one pic the Lambo kinda takes your eyes away from it! But just for a second.

Yes, that is Charlie's car. He goes by MoonViper for obvious reasons.
