Whats stock 1999 rt worth?

What do you guys think a silver 99 rt/10 with 40,000 miles, 2 tops, clean carfax, is worth? Car is totally stock besides smooth tubes and cat back exhaust. Super clean. Does the last year of forged internals bring the value up a bit?

The market is flooded with used Vipers and the internals will not make much difference. Kelley blue book etc will give you a basic idea what it might sell for with mileage, condition, etc.

yes Plum. It does sound pretty mean for some reason. One of the best sounding ive heard. Its mine and my Dads tho. We got it together to work on it. I have ported heads, manifold, throttle bodies etc, to go on it but Hes 70 years old and although loves the look of it he likes the way the gen 3 drives and the ease of the top going up, and down. So were looking for a gen 3 to work on instead . car has newer tires too. If ya know anyone. If it was a coupe I would park it for sale so u had to pass it everday until u caved and bought it hope all is well!

Yes it was I keep trying to talk Dad into keeping it with me but I think its going up for sale soon. im a gen 2 guy! I had many! I love them but I want my Dad to like too since where gonna be working on it and drag racing it together. Its looking like $32,000 if ya know anyone. Unless I could convince him that gen 3's look like corvettes

1999 Is the best of the gen 2s, they always dyno the most and as you said last of the forged motors, also has the last hotter cam and real type headers from the factory,

BoB, yeah, it sounded great going by applebees. the area will be down to 2 silver gen2's now when it sells...down from 5

I've had a low mileage (12k) 99 RT for sale for a couple months priced in the low to mid 30's.... so I doubt you'll get 30k for your 40k mile car.

I see them all over the place with price and miles. Car is def clean, no accidents which is hard to find in gen 2's these days. 2 tops. New tires. Plus I have ported heads, manifold, bigger throttle bodies, custom air box with 3 inch outlets and chrome tubes, bellanger headers with 2000 miles on them. So im sure ill get what I need to out of it. Even if i sell those things separatley. I had 13 vipers and this is one of the cleanest! still trying to convince my Dad to keep it but I think the gen 3 is more user friendly for him. However I am starting to push the gen 4 just want to make sure its gonna be able to be tuned!

Depends on how badly you need to sell it. Hold out for what it's worth (33k) because it's clean and very well modded. A good buyer will pay the premium for a well sorted out car. For a quick sale then sell for 28K. Just my .02.

The car just has a cat back. I have all the other parts to sell with it or separatly. Still not sure if were selling it yet tho,
