What\'s up with this paint job?

I have seen this paint job on a few Vipers and I was just wondering about it. Was it a dealer job? I don't think anything like that came out of the factory, but I could be wrong.

I like the scheme on the door, but not the front fascia. They could have done better up front. In my opinion.......

Hey, I know that car! It was purchased by a Maj in the Army at Ft. Carson. I got to talk to him a little before I left. The whole experience was new to him and he was still adjusting to all the power it had. I liked the paint, unique.

Ft. Carson as in Ft. Carson, Colorado? I took the picture in Colorado Springs so it's probably the same exact car. It was sitting in a Lincoln/Mercury dealership. Figure that out.

I think I took the photo in may. The same dealership had a 2000 Steel Grey RT/10 about two weeks ago. I'm not sure if it's still there. Thanks for the tip on the two Vipers. I've never seen a 650R before. Are they there all the time? Also, do you know what street that is on? I'm not sure where that is.

Just go to down town Colorado Springs on Tejon Blvd. If they are working and it's a nice day the cars are there. Chuck manages Rumbay. Also, go to Cub foods on Powers and Constitution ave. on any Saturday. Big car get together, and a couple of Vipers usually show.

Yep it is the same, got a close up look at it while talking to him. When did you take the photo? I'm guessing May or June. If you go down town in the Springs at Rumbay and Tequela's you'll see a 95 and 96 R/T Venom 650R owned by the managers.

Usually around 5 PM, but with the time change, it might be earlier.

Oh please, it's really not bad, saw it up close. I liked it. I already said unique so now I will say Different from other Vipers!

I saw the '96 black RT/10 today. Is it yours? I can't help but notice that your avatar is a '96 black RT/10. Also, is that the 650R? The only noticible modification I could see was the small spoiler in the back.

Hey viperweb,
that was Chucks car you saw. He has the 650R and it is the same year and color as mine, but he has the spoiler. I've already left the area for Alabama, not as many Viper here, maybe one or two other than mine. Chuck is a good guy, here is usually out in front of Rumbays if he's working.

There are a bunch of Vipers in the Springs area, just never notice them until I got mine. The car get together is a really cool thing, hopefully it will still be around next year.
