It's the shocks.... Can't remember if you need stiffer or looser (DUH) but it is the shocks. I don't usually drive my car that hard (but have on occasion). I asked that question at VOI6 and was told it's the shocks.
In my 93, if the tires are cold, I hop like a kangaroo! Get the tires warm first, and as JonB would tell you, change the stock tires if you still have them on.
Many vipers have a toe-in problem with the rear wheels that exacerbates wheel hop. Some drag racers alter the factory toe-in spec's. Archer racing also sells a anti-toe-in bracket set to eliminate the problem. There was a design change in the 94 model year. The Archer brackets fit the later 94's forward. The bracket also helps during braking.
