\'Wheezing\' Sound Coming from the engine
Hi Everyone,
Just got my 2001 RT/10 and it's been a blast to drive around. I recently added K&N air filters and induction tubes from Snakeoyl products. I've noticed a 'wheezing' sound coming from the engine under hard throttling conditions. Performance does not seem affected and other than annoying 'wheezing' from time to time. I want to make certain I'm not damaging the engine in any way. I'm a ****** Viper owner
I don't remember if this 'wheezing' existed prior to these changes other than the normal sound of air rushing through the intake, which is now much more noticeable and sounds whicked. I checked the air intake box to make certain it's seated properly and that the filters are positioned correctly. The tubes are on nice and tight, no loose connections anywhere. Just wondering if this is normal. Any ideas?
Thanks.
