I'm on a cruise out of Tampa starting Jan 25 thru Feb 1. Hope it doesn't conflict. Any changes in the class structure?

Are the 2004 races in conjunction with NSCA ? Some were going to be with NMCA....guess what....they were bought out by the PRO series. I hope they are stand alone events.

Tony,

The V-10 Nationals is a different venue from the NMCA Viper/Vette Shootout series that we have secured starting next year. The first event will be late March in Louisiana, but I will not confuse this thread with details until everything is secure.

The V-10 Nationals will be held in Florida sometime in Feb at either Bradenton or Orlando....probably Bradenton for (2) reasons;

1. Reasonable tech

2. A Viper/Vette Shootout is held there annually. Lee Saunders, John C., Myself and ...[******]... participated last year along with several other local Vipers. We intend to "crash" the party again this year but with the full force of the V-10 Nationals contingent.

NSCA will run it's regular schedule in 2004 of 8 events. The vultures at Primedia (who acquired the NMCA name when they bought Petersen Publishing) sold the name of NMCA to a competitive sanctioning body (Pro media). The series lives, just without the name, which had no equity anyway. Just added confusion to the fastest street car scene.
Unfortunately the NSCA World finals are Sept 17-19 in Columbus the same weekend as the Viper Nationals in Norwalk.
I have a bad conflict!
The Ohio VCA could consider moving the Norwalk event to Columbus?

Orginal dates were Jan 31 for Florida V-10 Nationals and Feb 1 for Viper Vette shot out at the same track. It did not work because of Super bowl was on that date.

We are still looking into Jan or Feb, I spoke and faxed information to track owners and track manager today.....Dr.Roof was updated today and we are going to try to nail dates this week for Florida V-10 Nationals.
