Well I just pulled in to the gym and had to grab my wallet out of the passenger side and when I **** the door the car honks?

I kind of wish I had your problem…but instead it would arc a stored coil charge in to the face of the passenger in an attempt to squash their involuntary act of slamming the car door so hard it makes my teeth rattle.

Sounds like an EEM or door wiring problem or both. Does the alarm system work entirely normal? Every function?

No it does not it would honk if I unlock it or lock the car and the light don't turn on when I hit the unlock button. But this mooring the problem went away. But I still what I want to find out what it was

Our 2001 GTS suddenly started similar behavior right after a good drive. Fortunately, I knew to check battery (at battery...low voltage)...replaced battery...and problem disappeared.

your prb creating a short when you close the door. somtimes the wires get corroded even inside the jacket so you will never know. get a volt meter and start testing wires around your door and horn and see which one is the problem one
