So tired of all the noob whiners on the G5 forum. Not you Bob. I love my new Viper and I guess Ralph got what he wanted. I think I prefer the G3/G4 forum...

I don't get why people are getting worked up over warranty issues before involving their local dealers. It would be one thing if we were all in Kris's shoes, but he seems to be the minority (to note he is in a ****ty spot)

Here.

I'm not a noob whiner.....i simply post my findings to compare to others. I have worked with my dealer & SRT reps ( whom contacted me) in resolving these issues.

End result: I want the issues corrected so I can enjoy the car, rather than using my spare time going back and forth for repairs.

I think a bunch are still, waiting on their cars to be made. Only somewhat tongue in cheek.

Mine has had no issues worth going to the dealer for yet... A few times the climate controls got stuck shooting at my feet, but then it went went away and worked like it should. A few times I swear I heard my passenger window squeaking when driving, but I rolled it down a 1/4" and it went away. I posted about a low dyno a month ago, but I'm now losing traction in first gear on a regular basis so whatever that was about is gone.

One thing to note though, my car had the "extra inspection" sticker on the window that I had to remove when I bought it. The car had about 16 miles on it due to extra testing at the factory. So I'm assuming those were hard "break in" miles and they found any other issues plaguing others at that time. Did anyone else have that window sticker?

of the 800 only 350 have been sold to customers according to the registration statistics . The rest sit on dealer lots.

Hard to get the dealers to post ( since they technically own the car until sold) when they took a bath on these cars.

Wonder how many still need to be built?

I bet the majority of the 350 owners aren't Internet savy and are older just a hunch. I drove past an eye surgeon's office the other day and saw a cool SRT base parked there with a Roanoke sign on back and a temp tag. I stopped to introduce myself but it was the weekend and the office was locked. If you're on here, say hi!

Took delivery two weeks ago today and have 1,175 mi on it... More to come. Took a road trip last weekend to Austin and the car did great. Tried to find some mustangs, camaros, and vettes to pick on but couldn't find any. LOL

I know three Gen V owners that don't visit this site, or hang out on the net.

A few times the climate controls got stuck shooting at my feet

Mine does this occasionally. I usually have my A/C on bi-level so that it splits between the dash vents and floor. Sometimes when I get back from the car being parked for a while and start it up, it is only blowing on the floor - even though the climate button shows the dash should still be blowing. I simply hit the dash-only button, then back to the bi-level button and it works again. I blame the Uconnect radio for that one, likely needs a software update.

Nothing worth visiting the dealer for, though.

Mine did that last weekend in Austin. No big deal but I guess there is definitely a pattern...
