Thanks Diamond Head, I know about them but they are a different organization. I was asking specifically for this web site as I said that I signed up cause I saw a So Cal section of Vipers but then when I signed up nothing. I contacted the Viper Club folks and they told me that THEY DONT HAVE A SO CAL group, very interesting and disappointing to say the least. Looks like all the So Cal folks went there

a lot of members left the VCA. They started another
Viper site.

No, a group of about 30% started a lot of unnecessary
drama and and did things like purposely disrupt funded
VCA events (like VOI and the Raffles,) stole VCA
outside links (like the regional links,) and stole VCA
membership lists. When everything went down, about
40% of the remaining membership said "F-This" and
moved on... Of the remaining 25% who stayed, they
dont ever contribute to the site (and never have) so
in order to save money and future drama, the VCA
scaled back its sub groups and consolidated them into
massive regional areas for the time being (or until the
VOA either stops interfering, or folds) and membership
recovers.

Serb - Im sorry, but local groups like SoCal were blended in.
You are more than welcome to try to reestablish it if you
want, no one in this club will try to hinder you in any way,
but if thats "all your here for" then unfortunately there
isnt much we can do for you right now.

If its THAT important to you, your other option would be
to join the VOA and see if they still have the stuff they stole
from us running - i personally wouldnt respect you if you did,
but id certainly understand the desire to follow the crowd,
and most of the bottom members over there are good
guys who simply dont understand (or care anything about)
the group they sided with. Unlike the heads of the VOA, in the
end i would rather you be happy as an owner than stiffle here
waiting for this to all sort out (if it ever does.) There are no
restrictions by us - feel free to stop in any time you need help,
there will always be someone here to try to help, or on the FB
page. Im sorry i couldnt give you better news right now...

I know quite a few members of the Socal Viper club and have attended track events with them. That club existed before any national organization was formed, and still exists today. I think that most who belong to it today do so for the local events and get togethers and couldn't care less about the politics of either national organization which have nothing to do with what people actually joined their local club for.

Well, include yourself in everything. The true Viper lovers will always be a community. There has been a couple generations through this great group of Viper/car lovers. Ego's and politics always get in their own way.

Just go out and have fun! It was the best times of my life when I got together with all my Viper guys and did cruises.

My wife and I have owned our 05 since new. We live in the Temecula Valley area and would like to find some other Viper owners in the area. There are a lot of very cool twisty roads all over the rural area. Cruise and stop for lunch at a destination restaurant. Roads like Ortega to the beach, Highway 79, Mount Palamar, and Old 395 to one of the casinos. Just some weekend cruising. If anyone is interested, please get in touch with me. Not starting a club, just some local owners for a cruise. This area is a destination spot for motorcycles and Corvette clubs.
