I don’t want to go with stock gaskets because it doesn’t make sense to replace bad gaskets with the same brand that failed in the first place. But if Fel-Pro or nobody else makes them then I’m giving Tator a call.

Does anybody other than Mopar build Viper gaskets?

Hey Chuck,

I've replaced many of these gaskets with the stock gasket and have had great success. What I have found on many occasions is that the gaskets were not installed properly from the get go. When the timing covers were placed on the block the gaskets either slipped or were bent to the point where they separated and split over time.

Thanks Larry. I sent Chuck Tator an email for the gaskets. Might as well replace the sepentine belt while I'm at it.

Side note: I'm expecting my new tires this week or early next. Gotta get an alignment by May 17 (Sebring). Will you have time for me?

If you look where it is leaking is usually a casting flaw that need cleaned. Every on I have changed never leaked again.
Make sure the surface is good and clean and smooth

Hey Chuck,

Drop the car off and I'll fix the leak and the alignment. Don't forget to order a new front crank seal and an oil pan gasket if it's the older plastic version.

Thanks Larry, but the alignment is for the GTS and the leak is the RT/10. I'll drop #34 off for a radical track alignment when I get my tires - probably sometime next week.
