Where to stay in Houston?

Hey folks, any recomendations on a place I can stay near Beltway 8 and 45 (north)? Will be at that location at least 1-2 nights every other week and want a place I can stay and park the Viper when I take it. Thanks! Oh, and anyone around Thursday evening for a bite to eat in the area?

Rough part of town.....Greenspoint is known as Gunspoint on the North side. It's a bit South of me. Sorry I can't be more helpful but if you want to drive a touch North and don't mind eating late (7:00 or 8:00) I am up for some dinner.

He is right, real bad area. Stay farther North if you can.

Drive 20 minutes North on I-45 and stay in The Woodlands area. There is a nice Marriott right next to the Woodlands Mall, it has a nice gated parking garage. Also, walking distance to many nice restaurants and bars in the same complex. I live up here, we never have a problem taking the nice cars out.

Got One, I have to fly/work that day but go right next door to Baker Street Pub, one of my hang outs. Cool place, huge beer selection, good food and women.
