My car is a blue 97 GTS w/white stripes:smirk:
I'm taking off the old Viper logos (side and rears) as they are falling off.
I'm trying to decide whether to put the same color back on (chrome/clear - stock?) or go with the blue.
Also, what color would have come on the car originally (in '97)?

TIA:2tu:

I went with silver because I thought white was too bright for emblems. See what you think:

NO. Stock is body color, blue. They are always the same color as the body.

Explaining Viper things to you
I think the chrome stands out more also. We have the chrome emblems on our Black...it came black on black...could not make them out...the chrome stands out. ~juli

First, you should paint the entire car RED, as RED is the fastest color. Then, after a stripe package, as striped cars are even faster, the chrome logos will look just fine.

Good. Chrome it is.

I have had both Chrome and White on my B/W. I personly like the white better it flows with the stripes and looks real good on the rear bumper Just my .02c. :)

Does anyone have some good pics of the blue for comparison?
It seems like so many of the B/Ws have the chrome, I just assumed it was factory. I wasn't sure if mine had been replaced (obviously they have). I know some of the letters have been reglued back on.

So it sounds like a lot of you have changed your logos. Is there a reason? Do they come unglued often, or did you just like the chrome better so you changed?
Also, are there any tips to getting them to stick better?

Dave is on to something with the WHITE...it's possible the white logos will look as well as the chrome...but please don't paint your car RED, LOL!! YOUR decision....white/chrome/blue...I know we didn't like the black on black..just didn't show up...the chrome makes the world of difference. ~juli

I've got the stock blue.. I'm going to be changing it to white or chrome though... hoping to see more pics of both to base my decision...

I don't have any really good pics of the emblems, but I've got some pics in general where you can see the blue doesn't really stick out at all.

stock blue stealth.
That's kind of what I was thinking
after seeing Limit's car I think I like the stealth look
and most people that see the car know what it is - you really don't need the logos on it at all since anyone that matters is going to know it is a Viper

I plan on doing a TT setup in the future and would like to add the "twin turbo" logo on the side as well but I don't want to announce what I have too loudly:smirk:
Or, how would it look with chrome logos for everything except the "twin turbo" which would be body color (for steathliness)?

I debated about this as well. There are things I like about both blue emblems and white emblems. However, I ended up using factory chrome emblems.

dude those wheels are awesome. where did you get them?

I have thought about replacing my logos as well, but my car is only 2700 miles and I am afraid to modify it from factory original.

Thank you! The wheels are 19" CCW (Purner) SP600's.

I'm thinking white for 'Dodge' and 'Viper', Red for 'GTS'. I've seen pics of this combo and really like it that way. However, I'll need another second and third look before I put those on my B/W.
