Which oil?

I am getting ready to change my oil today and bought 11 quarts of mobil 1 0w40. I checked the manual and it says to use 5w40. The oil cap says factory filled with mobil 1 0w40. I do not want to get into a warranty issue if I have a problem, so what is going on here? It is a 2010 acr.

NEVER MIND. I GOT THE ANSWER.

May have something to do with Dodge switching the factory fill from Mobil 1 to Pennzoil but keeping the original oil cap used on the Gen. III/IV engines. Using the Mobil 1 0W-40 won't affect the factory warranty.

I have tried both...the 5-40 euro rapps a tad at start-up compaired to 0-40 mobil @50 deg outside temp.

The answer is 0w40. The 5w40 was due to Dodge no longer having a contract with Mobil1 and using Pennzoil instead that offered 5w40.
