Trying to decide if I should stay with the 17" OEM 3 spokes or change them for some 18" Kinesis K28's. What do you think?

The 18"s look better IMO. But i'd take it a step further and get different wheels. I think the Gen III wheels look AWESOME on a Gen I car. I also LOVE the CCW 505 A's and thats what i will be putting on my Gen II!

hey jeff

nice ride...she does look sweet...but if it were me i would keep looking for different wheels...i personally have never been a big fan of any wheel that looks like a bbs (even on an acr) to 1980's for me...jmho

try picking up some newer gen wheels...they seem to be cheap right now!!

I have the gen2 wheels on my 94.
I like them better than any aftermarket wheels.

I never liked the gen1 wheels. I believe the painted gen1 wheels were a cost cutting decision by Dodge.

Look like most either like the OEM's or some other aftermarket wheel. The only reason I was thinking the Kinesis is that I could probably pick them up for dirt cheap with tires. I think I'll stick with the OEM's......for now! :D

I find the 18" split rims look small up against 18" stock..

The new polished 18"/19" FE rims look GREAT!!!!!!!!!

Have the OEM wheels chromed...
This was definitely another consideration. Does anyone know what it costs to do this and typically how long does the chrome last before it starts peeling?

IMO, stay with stock. The stock rims and sidepipes just make Gen I cars look astounding and like no other Viper on the streets.

Lookin' Good ViperJames! Those GenIII's really do look sweet! Maybe I'll put the GenIII's off my GenII on the GenI. Then I'll need wheels for the GenII again. How about the Kinesis on the GENII? They'll look similiar to the BBS LM's like in my avatar, so basically I'll be back to where I started?

Did you buy one? If you did you know the best looking wheels are the pizza dish wheels off of a 2000 Viper. You saw them on a good looking black Gen1. Remember?
