Who is definitely going to VOI

I know this came up a short time ago but things change. Infact at the time of that poll, I was almost 100% NOT going to go.

It would be interesting if people had name tags with their board names when they are at VOI then you could know who they really are.

So for me I am 90% YES

EDIT:

Yes, I will go to the drag racing before... hopefully run either my bike or a DC supplied Viper (preferably a Viper). Probably won't do the driving thing later, but might stick around to watch it.

Actually I think my mullet, beer gut and frontal balness will give me away BUT maybe.

TM you may want to check on that you may be allowed to race without a hard top.

If my 2000 hard top fits on your car you are welcome to use it when I am not using it.

I'm in, I believe the last time, everybody who was on the board made an effort to get together at a bar or something. Why don't we make an attempt to get together, Maybe those who put it togeher last time could give us advice on how. Chris Marshall, do I remember you being in on that?

I'll definitely be there, but unlikely to be in drag.

As for the bar arrangements, I'm up for that - I'm assuming there are plenty on-site (Opryland) that will work, but if someone who knows the area can make some suggestions, that seems ideal (IIRC someone previously did post a couple places...).

How about another webhead get together at the Jack Daniels Saloon on Thursday after the parade but before the welcoming cocktails? Or Wednesday evening? Bar is in the hotel.... Or we could meet at the center revolving bar in the atrium area (probably keeping us in a non-moving enclosed area would be recommended...)

The VCA forums folks did indeed hook up at a bar the first night of arrivals at VOI 6. I think somebody (Jay?) had nametags made up for everybody that confirmed they would go to that little gathering, which included your real name and board name. It was cool, because then you actually knew people from the very first day you go there. And JonB got a LOT of free beers that night...

I would be happy to help coordinate something similar this time around. As my wife will probably be staying home, I will have a lot more time to set up stuff like this. Let me know by e-mail if you are interested!
