I will be there, and I would think the Fuelman would like to check out another track. 1Tony1 are you in? There is a few North Florida that are fast, hopefully they will come..... I belive the fastest gen1 almost stock Viper will there.

JD is definitely in. I spoke with Martin D and he's in as well. A friend of mine whom none of y'all have met has a 2003 and he'll be there too. And rumor has it that there may be a guest with a super-fast 2003 there as well.
I'm taking that Friday off of work, so if anyone wants to meet earlier for a bite to eat on the way up, I'm all about that.
I plan on being in line early b/c I want to get in and get some early runs in before the big crowds show up.

Gate opens at 6. I like getting there around ~5:15 to get in line. That way I can tech and get in a run or two before it gets really busy.
In fact, last time I was up there, there was still I line coming IN to the dragway at 8:30p or 9p.
The more folks that can make it, the better!

I am still on the fence about friday night, but if 1Bony1 is going, I guess I will have to go, so I can heckle the $#!t out of him. I don't know if I will have a car to race or not... still too early for me to say.

My understanding is that it is a test&tune, but that the VCA has reserved a lane?? Not quite sure how that is going to work.
I'll give Pete (GA VCA prez) a call in the morning tomorrow to get to the bottom of the official status of the test&tune.
Normally, it is a pretty happening event on Friday nights in commerce, GA.
And with the weather getting a little cooler, it should make for some nice runs.
I'll post more info as I get it!

The friday nite is typical grudge nite action. But we have a lane reserved for us & we can run heads up or any other way you want. You can also enter the friday nite bracket for twice the runs. The budget didnt allow to rent the track just for ourselves. We have over 25 cars that said they will be participating on friday nite.

We are trying to put together the full M2 crazy drag racing posse. The ring master is confirmed... Larry Macedo. The rest of the posse: Fuelman is locked in, Cudaman is confirmed, and we are talking to the agent in charge of: cop car driving, sandwich making, street car racer and all around crazy T FAST 4U... Chris, is almost onboard. Sounds wild .... we have a bast together..... ask some of the people from V-10 Nationals.

The Atlanta Dragway is located at 500 E. Ridgeway Road Commerce, Georgia 30529 . Their web site is http://www.atlantadragway.com and the link to their directions page is http://www.atlantadragway.com/trackinfo.htm .
Directions From Chateau Elan (or heading N on I-85 from downtown ATL):
1. Take I-85 NORTH (go 23 miles from Chateau Elan, or go 60 miles from downtown ATL)
2. Take the Exit 149A exit - go 0.2 mi
3. Turn Left on US-441 - go 0.2 mi
4. Turn Left on COUNTY ROAD 232 - go < 0.1 mi
5. Continue on E RIDGEWAY RD - go < 0.1 mi
6. Continue on STEVEN B TANGER BLVD/TANGER BLVD - go 0.2 mi
7. Continue on E RIDGEWAY RD - go 0.5 mi
US-441 is a major road with lots of places to park vipers / trailers / burgers. ******* Barrel, Wendy's, etc... Any suggestions? If not, I'll have to pick something I've heard of and call it good. Or does anyone else remember what is up there?
