That is one of the best viper pics I've ever seen. Anyway, that is a GTS-R wing. It is all CF and expensive. I don't know who currently makes them though. No more access to the rear hatch if you get one.

That "was" one of the nicest VRL cars around. The owner was unfortunately collected in a race pile up later that day. Yes, it is a GTS-R wing that is made of carbon fiber, however, thay are also made in fiber glass. Autoform or Snake Oyl produced the fiberglass versions. McCann racing manufactured the carbon fiber versions I think. Good luck.

OK. Not 100% sure, but here's my take.

Carbon Fiber Tommy Archer wing. The ONLY wing wind tunnel tested, and works like no other. Mostly all the unlimited big dogs at Viperdays use this wing. Very expesive from what I remember ($4,000), but may make one in fiberglass that is less expensive. But here's the kicker. You cannot open your back hatch after installing the wing. In essense, it is race only. Not only that, but it must be used in conjuction with a front splitter to function properly.

Please call Tommy Archer to verify these statements, as it was 2 years ago when I was told this information. Prices may have change, and my memory isn't that great either....

McCann Racing - Carbon Fiber. Also available at Archer Racing. WAY over $4K... but it is GORGEOUS... Includes significant mounting hardware - it's real aero.

Others I guess are making fiberglass versions. Not sure about hardware.

#1 - onerare is correct - you cannot open the back glass. It's made for race cars and most have Lexan / no hinges....
#2 - you do not what to do this to your car without corresponding front aero, as the downforce generated by that thing is significant.

Redsled,
The wing on your car looks similar if not identical. Who made yours?

I wish I knew. It was on the car when I bought it. It's identical to the one pictured, however, mine is made of fiberglass.

Janni, do you think it makes more down pressure than the Dual wing I got?

Most definitely - it's HUGE and has a serious airfoil design... It's a race car part - designed in a wind tunnel.......

As previously stated, the CF one, as of 2 years ago was made by McCann Racing. Price was $6k with all mounting hardware included. I didn't weigh it but I'll bet it weighs less than 10 lbs.
