A stiffer front bar in general would increase understeer, but I have to be honest and say that so far I have been too chicken to push my car hard enough to even know if it will understeer.

Change sway bars in matched sets to maintane balance!
Any of the Viper Days vendors can help you.
Call Jon B www.partsrack.com, he or Archer Racing, or Bobby Archer, or any of the race companies can discuss your handling desires.
Remember, to make a car corner flatter, you have to take weight from the outside corners(tires) of the car and move it to the inside corners(tires). While this may be "flatter cornering", it is not always faster.
You could also install a smaller rear bar, this will make your front bar feel thicker!

What are your times? Are you getting 95%-100% out of the car in it's stock configuration? The car is a pretty competent track car stock..... Consider having Archer Racing work on your car at Viper Days at VIR and then you'll have all the expertise available - including some very fast Viper instructors and that will be way more valuable than starting your mods now....

How about Archer custom s-bars F&R (new), Archer adjustable s-bar end links (new), and 2000.5 Koni ACR shocks and hypercoil (sp) springs. Do it all at once and be done. I sold my car and never installed these parts and plan to return these items to Archer if not sold. Call me at 678-371-6427 if interested. I will be in Raleigh this weekend to pick up the Cone's car which I purchased and can deliver or at least get together.
