Here's the specs:

18"X10"(front)/ 19"X13"(rear). The tires are Michelin Pilots(non run-flats) 275/35ZR18(front)/345/30ZR19(rear).

Will these work? If so, any negatives to handeling/performance?

Thanks in advance.

Ah ha...... are you looking at all of those SRT-10 wheel and tire sets on ebay?
Be careful, I looked at them, and a few of those look kind of suspicious.
Good luck!

The wheel assemblies will probably work, but you may have a clearance problem in the left rear near the battery box cover. You should definitely check the rear spacing on the wheels vs your stockers. The SRTs have a much wider front track width than the Gen1&2 cars do. Rear spacing may or may not have anything to do with the difference.

I have some pics of GEN 1-2's with the new SRT rims on them, I will post them when I get home.

ViperJoe,

You got me.... The seller does seem suspicious. He sent me an email stating he lives in the UK, but on the ad it says Canada. I will probably not bid, but the ad made me curious about the feasibility of this combo. Seems like it may be more trouble than it's worth, especially with the seller being in question.

They fit. two Gen2 Vipers at VOI had these rims. One was a PVO factory Viper and the other was from CA. The guy from CA bought his set off E-bay last summer.

interesting that there are 9 sets of these on e-bay and multiple sellers. one in canada and one in usa. And they all have the old "PETE" logo and not the new "FANG" logo in the center. Think they're early prototype rims that the manufacturer couldn't use or something more questionable?

Don't buy from the guy, I remember some guy on ebay that said he lived in UK and would deliver from Ukrain or something. Sounds very similar. He was trying to sell tires, and there were multiple warnings on the board, may want to do a search.

IMO they dont look as good as the stock rims that came on the car. They look better on the SRT then they do on previous GEN's.

To go along with Austing, the Gen 2 wheels have the curves and flowing lines that go w/ the car, esp the 99-00 wheels. The Gen 3s are more edgier and reflect it's respective car well.

Onerare,
With as many as there are on ebay recently, I thought that they were reproduction wheels.

MarvS,
Where and when did you get the picture with all of the blue and whites (all look like '96's)? I haven't seen that many together in one place.

Bob,
I took that photo at VOI-7 last year in Nashville while we were waiting for the Group Panoramic photo. This owner with the SRT-10 wheels was by us. There were many more Blue&White than my pic shows.
