I will give you an idea of what a 96 gts superclean with 5200 miles and about 20k in mods brings in the current market.My 96 gts the one in my avatar just sold for $65k and had 2 serious buyers bidding on it, so I would say ebay is not realistic in pricing for really nice cars just for beaters.The good cars never sale cheap they never reach reserve.

Jamie, you did pretty good. I let a 96 blue/white with only 6K miles slip through my hands for 50K... I am still having problems sleeping at night thinking about it. Hopefully I get a car soon and will be cured.
