Is the wind buffeting significantly reduced with the back window installed in a RT/10(1996)?? NO SIDE windows on the Gen 1 cars.
We have a mesh windscreen installed in another car, and it works great on the freeway with the side windows up.
Thanks for your comments.

Rear window in causes more buffeting.

Speeds in excess of 150mph will cause an "open" RT/10's Valentine 1 detector plugged into the cigarette lighter to repeatedly reset itself from either the buffeting or the "bouncing".

Rear window out, no side windows and visors 45 degrees up to direct air to the legs and foot area. That is all the buffering I need.

Actual experience ;) Quite an annoying aspect, may have been due to the open track, interesting non-board-postable story there ;)
