I've read through some of the posts on winter storage and I have 2 questions:

What is the reason for blocking the windshield wipers off the glass?

What is the benefit of opening the windows a crack vs. leaving them closed? (I think I'm paranoid some critters will crawl under the car cover and make a nest in my sleeping snake)

thanks,

vinman

I can personally recomend leaving the windows down a bit. This was the only mistake I made last year and I did have a bit of white mold in the trunk area. And this was in my garage.

Crack Those Windows!

being my first time storing a car.
i cracked the windows and put the wipers on top of cloths to keep them off the windshield. did it because someone recommended not letting them touch the windshield. not sure why.. but cant hurt.
