Every year , for 8 years, we have invited gearheads and Serpent folk to avoid the blahs of Winter and attend a racing school with us. We contract to get a program tailored just for us ( we like more seat-time ) and it is an enjoyable three day bash of racing ( some of the bench racing is even more intense, ha) and comraderie. Last year we had over 10 people on a waiting list, so this year we are going on two different dates. The first date is for Advanced Drivers ( those who have had a previous 3 day school ) and the second is for Novices or folks who want to bring a friend and are not concerned with the level. We are going to Virginia International Raceway, which is arguably the most beautiful track in the country, to run the winged wonders of the Bertil Roos Formula Racing School. These cars will do 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, do 2g's, and run 130 mph, while still having room for a driver up to 6'4" and 275 lbs. Check out the following websites:
1. www.racenow.com
2. www.berryhillcenter.com

This will give you a brief overview of the school ( though we will have some changes ), as well as a peak at the Resort we will be staying at. Breakfast is served at the Hotel, and lunch is served at the track, so we only have to concern ourselves with dinner. Cost will be $2695 for 3 full days, and the Hotel will honor their old rate ( $129 ) and throw in breakfast. There are some rooms with doubles , so 2 can share the $129 price.

Dates:
Advanced Group March 17-19 Bobby Woodchuck iz yur host.
Novice Group March 24-26 Willie Da P be semi-in-charge

To reserve a spot call www.racingschools.com and talk to Robert or Carlos and tell them you are with the Woodhouse Group and specify the date. The number there is 877-463-7223 and feel free to call or email me , also , for more info or any personal requests.

The berry hill center is very nice too, It is on the list of haunted mansions. Marriot has taken it over since the Grand Am race on labor day. The Chef is great, you guys must eat dinner there.

To answer a question a couple of you have called on,the Advanced group will accept drivers who have been to other 3 day schools---
i.e., Skip Barber,Bondurant, Justin Bell, Panoz, Stephen's Brothers, Danny McKeever, Derek Daly, Russell, Bragg- Smith, etc.

Hope that helps.

Also if you have an active license in SCCA, Grand Am, American Lemans Series, Nascar, etc., this is MORE than fine!!
