ITV,
There were a whole lot more GTS/R's then the ones AA made.
Don't think there will ever be a re-Run. The moulds are changed/lost and so they can't really produce them anymore.
Shame, there were a lot of good looking racers.
The future of the GTS/R lies in the 1:43 series. Companies like Minichamps and IXO models still have their moulds.
They are willing to produce more, but we'd have to help them get the complete livery.
There are a few Le Mans cars wich aren't produced yet in 1:43.
About the Competition Coupe's.
Viper HQ is actually the brains behind the cars AutoArt will produce. I know for at least one CC that is coming this year. It will look gorgeous that's what I can tell.
The moulds of the current models will be changed after the GMG and Woodhouse car are completed. Than the current bodystyle like seen in GT3 and Speed GT Series will be produced.
I'm allready working with two teams to get their CC's (with the new bodystyle) as a limited run again.
I don't think AA should mass produce all different CC's like driven. A few is good for the collectors world, too many.......
And for the new Viper. With the Mopar proto it shows Dodge can make a streetcar with the muscle for the circuit again.
It's just a matter of time before the 2008 SRT will be on the circuits again..... can we call it the SRT-R?
And with that, there will be a good follow up for us as collectors.
Finally....
I asked AA about the GMG Viper. But they are busy with a big toy fair at the moment. Hope to have more information soon!
And....
ITV, did you get my PM on Modelautoforum?
