Just installed a second set of Woodhouse motor mounts on a GenII, and one of the OE mounts was torn all the way thorough, the other was distorted, so just wanted to put a post here to revive and let others know! Woodhouse mounts are the best. With the new mounts the trans now sits where it should, ie on the exact same plain as the diff! The Viper likes it very much :)

A RUBBER MASTER WITH FEMALE PARTS???

AND YOU'RE SENDING PICS???

The jet is fueling now!!!

OK. Viper Brothers then. Non gender specific... We don't say "Sisters" here in the US of A, under any conditions, as I would be a Sister with male parts... :D

Thank you Dave, I have just worked a UK night shift, come home and sorted out a million tasks and chillin on the computer (as it's decided to work)! Nighty night from over the pond bro. :hug2:
Firm mounts are a good thing to have in life.

Just did mine last week. I have a 98 with 30k. They were twisted and cracked. Put Woodhouse in with Dave's trans mount and bar. Also installed B&M short throw with MGW knob. The shifter sits like a rock and doesn’t budge at all. Shifting is 100% more precise then before. I would bet most Gen 2 mounts are at least twisted if not broken by now. And no increased vibration that at least I can tell. I believe mounts are a must at this point in the game.

Probably the reason some will report no more vibration, is that compared to their toasted OE mounts, the vibration is actually less with the new Woodhouse mounts. Some might recall that thread I did recently about vibration in 5th gear so bad I was concerned the car was self destructing. Now I have not had the opportunity to drive it yet as we're still doing exhaust mods, but I think based on that driver side mount in the pic above, my mystery is solved.

For those who are interested... I spoke with Woodhouse today. They sold out of 250 mounts with a quickness. They are on back order by about a week and a half. Mine are on order so I should get mine before you ;)

Anyway can't wait to get em on there and make my Viper smile :D

They are easy if your already under the car replacing parts like the clutch, trans, or flywheel.... I would assume that you can do it without even unbolting them though.

I did mine a few weeks ago, along with Dave's transmission mount. The car is clearly more precise and stable. I do have some strange sound coming from the transmission tunnel now. I'm going to investigate further.

Do you have headers?
Now engine mounts will lead to headers..this mod stuff never ends. And I've only had the car since October.

I ordered mine today from Woodhouse as it is the first day of Fall:(:(
I ordered engine and tranny and then went thread reviewing again. What's the benefit of Dave's over the Woodhouse Tranny mount? Seems more are using Dave's??? Did I goof up?

I think what Dave has is more an improved and pretty transmission mount "brace" the mount you bought is the actual Mopar mount for the transmission. You may be able to just upgrade to Dave's support brace and not his mount. No worries either way. If you decide you don't want the mount just send it back and I will refund it's price. :2tu:
