I did my best to get my Friend (Mike R) to buy it, you were so close to a deal and didn't make it work....and now your talking about going lower than what he was offering????? Oh well, I told him I was kinda glad he didn't get it......I'm afraid I might like yellow/blk better than blue/wht. There are even a few that THINK yellow is faster

Also, yes, the car has no cats, but they can easily be put back on if needed. I can even do so myself, if needed.

Cheers,
-J

P.S. Yes, yellow is faster (don't let the cat out of the bag).

Justyn Justyn, you were THAT close to a deal and you didn't put a cherry on top to close it!?? Shame Shame!! Now you'll have to tell the future wife you HAVE to keep your viper... KEEP IT!!! We are loosing you to the dark side.. COME BACK!! COME BACK!!!

Just think, you'll soon have to save to buy diapers and baby shoes!!

If it was solid black and a 99 ACR I would buy it. The Viper market is not good for sellers and will probably get worse around Christmas. Give Ebay a try, I think that is the best place to showcase that car and get the attention. Looks like a nice car, but you need to find the right buyer (maybe a wealthy beekeeper???)

It's not selling because the price is still too high. You're not going to get anything for those mods. It's just not gonna happen. Unless of course you luck up & find someone who'll cough up for em. But there again, you said you were crunched for time. With that in mind, Fitzgerald Motorsports has a 2001 RT/10 for sale with only 1,000 miles and they're advertising $66K. You know they'll go down from there. Way down. And you have more miles on yours than that example. I myself had a 97 years ago that I bought early in that same year with only @ 3,500 miles on it when I sold it. I had it advertised forever! It just wouldn't sell for what I wanted. It had the full Venom 500 pkg too (more mods than you currently have) & chromed Speedline wheels! The most I could get for it was @ $56,000 - maybe $57,000 if memory serves me. I'm trying to sell my Viper now for a Modena so I know how frustrating it can get....but good luck to you.

I would love to buy it, it's just funds are very tight right now with this economy and all. I don't think I'll be going to VOI

King GTS,

You said you are trying to sell your Viper now - I love the color combo! Anyway, since you have used NOS does that void the warranty for the next owner?

I imagine it definitely would. I plan on selling it to a dealer that buys all my Vipers though. Easier than dealing with the headache. I'm actually getting a little more because of the NOS. No where near what I paid........... but a little extra. If he doesn't give me the number I'm looking for, I'll just keep it. We'll see.

I'm not trying to flam you, but my opinion is your price is old school. Things have recently changed.

Your going to need to go below the magic 60K mark, maybe 57 or 58.

There are a number of much better deals on 01's in the auto trader right now. I was shocked what low mile 01's are going for right now.

The Gen 2 market is going down fast and will probably accelerate the next 18 months. New dealer 02's will soon be charged rent.

Hope you get your price. Good luck.
